Y. OF INTEREST TO BANKERS. Suit Which Hm Been Submitted to ths ITaited State Court. Grand Rapids. Nov.

S. A suit of more than usual Interest to bankers has been submitted In the United States court. It is that of Kobert Gibbons, receiver of the City National bank of Greenville, against Henry N. Anderson and John J. Foster, directors.

Leroy Moore was president of the bank. When it failed, in June, 1S93. ha was found to be a debtor to the amount of 1175,000, or for three and a half time3 the total capital of the bank. In October, 1892, his Indebtedness, direct and as Indorser. was $121,000.

and the comptroller of the treasury ordered a curtailment. The tank was managed entirely by Moore and the directors continued to let him have his own and he Increased hi liability by 000 before the failure. The suit is to determine whether the directors can be ht-ld financially responsible for their neglect of duty in permitting Moore to continue his loot-In? operations. Some of the testimony adduced, showing Moore's methods. Is sensational In Its nature.

Cars must be run each way at least and that the most relentless enemy of mankind, consumption, is slowly but swiftly creeping upon them. But in the mad race for money they refuse to stop and drive off the dread disease. It would require a sacrifice of both time and money and so they neglect it, until It is too late. There is no excuse for this.

A sure and quick remedy is at hand. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery cures 98 per cent, of all cases of consumption. It remedies all disorders of the digestion. It invigorates the liver.

It makes new rich blood and builds ap firm healthy flesh. It enters the blood and drives out all impurities, and acts directly upon the lungs driving out all disease germs. It builds sound vital tissue in the lungs. Thousands have testified to their cure by this wonderful remedy after they were given up by the doctors and all hope was gone. Druggists sell it.

"I have taken Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery, and can and do recommend it every place I go," writes Mrs. J. D. Graves, of Salamanca, Cattaraugus N.

Y. (Academy Street). I am a traveling saleslady and have been for eighteen years. When I find people who are afflicted I'tell them what Dr. Pierce's medicine have done for me.

Twelve years ago I was given up to die. 1 had what all my physicians called consumption. I had hemorrhage of the lungs, night-sweats, and in fact I fully realized my condition. I begged of them to let me try the 'Golden Medical Discovery," and the result Is, I still live and do lots of hard work." I am prepared to lay artificial stone 10 times daily.
