Wanda B. Bielski, 85, of Burtchville Township died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, in Port Huron Hospital. "She was born June 1, 1916, in Detroit and had lived here for the past five years. HURON, MICHIGAN She married Chester Bielski.

He died in 1973. She is survived by her brother, Edward Szczepaniak of Bloomfield Hills; her brother-in-law, Arthur W. Sierota of Burtchville; and her nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews. She was death by her brother, Stanley "Kid Smith" Szczepaniak, and a sister, Rosalie T. Sierota.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Edward's On-theLake Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph M.

Esper, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday in the church.

THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF FORT GRATIOT ORDAINS: SECTION 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the Code by adding Chapter 5-14, Regulation of False Alarms, and penalties for false fire alarms in order to prevent the time and resources of the Fire Department and the Charter Township of Fort Gratiot. SECTION 2. AMENDMENT SECTION DEFINITIONS: As used in this Ordinance: .01 Alarm system: means any electric reasonably informed individual of alarm system" or "alarm system" that signal or message.

22, 2001, after a long illness. Mrs. Fitz was born Marilyn Ann Tistle on March 5, 1949, in Detroit. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adelaide Chodacki. loving wife and mother.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond and served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and enjoyed working with flowers. She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Gary, Jason and Andrea, all of Richmond; brothers, Al Tistle of Alabama, John Tistle of Macomb Township and Richard Socha of Center Line; and mother-in-law, Wilda Fitz of Memphis. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Squire Fitz. Funeral services will be 10 a.m.

She married Gary S. Fitz in Richmond on Oct. 13, 1973. Marilyn was a homemaker and William C. Harper Wednesday, Nov.

21, 2001. He was born Jan. 3, 1908, in Bridgehampton Township, to the late William James and Mary Purdy Harper. Mr. Harper was employed with Mueller Brass Co.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed farming and carpentry. He is survived by his wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Marguerite; five stepdaughters, McEachen of Newark, Donna J.

Hamilton of North Street, Sandra J. DeBeaumarchais of Lynnwood, Florence Durrant of Kimball Township and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Irene) Gillette of Burtchville Township; stepson, Mr. and Vernon (Donna) Coop of Davison; a nephew, Mr.

and Mrs. Noble (Marianne) Harper of Deckerville; and a niece, Mr. and Mrs. Neal (Joyce) Vinkemulder of Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Harper.

Harper, 93, of Port Huron died James A. Harris Jr. James A. Harris Jr. PORT HURON James A.

Harris 78, of Port Huron died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, after a long illness. He was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Port Huron to the late James A. and Loretta Rose Artman Harris.

Mr. Harris owned and operated James Harris Construction Co. in Port Huron and JIMCO Construction in northern California. He was a graduate of Port Huron High School, Port Huron Junior College and Michigan State University. During World War II, he served with the 36th Division of the Seventh Army, was awarded the Purple Heart and five Bronze Stars for heroic achievement in combat.

The division was the first to land on the mainland of Europe in World War II. He' was a member of Charles A. Hammond American Legion 8, Charles Schoor VFW Post 796, a charter member of the St. Clair County Home Builders, the Michigan Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. He was a former member of Elks Lodge 343 and the Jaycees.

In retirement, Mr. Harris took up roller skating and competed in roller skating competitions across the country. He is survived by three sons, Michael and Erich Harris of Port Huron and Fredrich Harris of San Francisco; three daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Keith (Deborah) Thornton of Port Huron, Mr.

and Mrs. Jeffery (Anita) Szostek of Mount Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. David (Maryleigh) Wilson of Cirencester, England; their mother, Judith Harris of Fort Gratiot; eight grandchildren, Erika, Aaron and Cole Thornton, Ryan and Alex Szostek and Garrett, Finlay and Harris Wilson; two brothers, Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas (Dorothy) Harris and Mr. and Mrs. George (Donna) Harris, all of Port Huron; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Krenke, a and a brother, Donald Harris. A memorial service will be 11 a.m.

Frank B. Kellogg Jr. PORT HURON Frank B. Kellogg 64, of Port Huron died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, in Port Huron Hospital.

He was born Oct. 19, 1937, in Lapeer to the late Frank B. and Ina Keyes Kellogg Sr. Mr. Kellogg was a plant panager with the Ford Motor Co.

prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid University of Michigan sports fan who bled maize and blue. He is survived by two daughters, Katy (Jim) Kelloggof Walled Lake and Eva Kellogg of Brighton; two sons, Frank B. (Sandra) Kellogg III of Andover, and Keith (Stephanie) Kellogg of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Kellogg and a third grandchild on the way; a brother, Noel Kellogg of Three Rivers; two nephews, Noel Jr.

and Jason Kellogg; and two nieces, Kristen and Hillary. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m.

Earline Stone Zoodsma BYRON CENTER Earline Stone Zoodsma, 66, of Byron Center died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at Spectrum Health after a brief illness. Earline was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. For several years she was "The Dust Buster of West Michigan," a cleaning service which she started.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; her children, Vincent and Marcella Bernhardt of Pearland, Texas, Barry and Lisa Bernhardt of Grand Rapids, David and Celina Bernhardt of Hope Valley, R.I., Tim and Jody Bernhardt of Rockford, Janna and Douglas Renkema of Caledonia and Dr. Kenneth and Lisa Zoodsma of Alpharetta, 17 grandchildren who were the apple of her eye; her sisters, Mrs. Anita Ross of Melvin and Janice and Bob Litigot of Howell; her in-laws, Mrs. Alice Zoodsma of Cascade Township, and Mrs.

Barbara Zoodsma of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and her nieces, nephews and their families. The service for Earline will be 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon in Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 44th St. SW, Wyoming. Pastor Timothy Brown will officiate.

Mary June Putze 10.1 Mary June Putze FORT GRATIOT Mary June Putze, 64, of Fort Gratiot died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, in Mercy Hospital. She was born June 25, 1937, in Port Huron, and lived in the area all her life. She married George E. Putze on Feb.

25, 1955, in Port Huron. Mary loved traveling with her husband and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, George E. Putze of Fort Gratiot; daughter, Bonnie (Roger) Moore of Kentucky; daughter, Candy (Michael) George of Marysville; son, Randy (Karen) Putze of Fort Gratiot; daughter, Constance Putze of Port Huron; son, Edward Putze of Fort Gratiot; son, Michael (special friend, Lynn) Putze of Port Huron; eight grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; dear friends, Craig Smith, and Michelle Hewitt and the Hewitt family; five sisters, Virginia (Tom) Smith, Joan Haight, Ethel Mae (Herb) Hart, Katherine (Louie) Johnston, Dorothy (Ed) Valva; and two brothers, Carl (Betty) Allison and George Allison. Harold A. Sibilla Harold A. Sibilla ST. CLAIR Harold A. Sibilla, 86, of St.

Clair died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Faith Medical Center. He was born to Henry and Carrie Emig Sibilla on Dec. 8, 1914, in East China Township. He was a master carpenter and ham radio operator.

He also repaired radios and televisions. He remembered the old buttermilk train run that ran from Richmond to St. Clair. His brother, Ervin, ran the train, once when he was 9 years old. Harold's bedroom at 117 Delaware East China Township, was only 40 feet from the train tracks.

He grew up in the Tashmoo, Detroit Urban Railroad and Oakland Hotel-era and cherished these wonderful childhood memories. The Sibilla and Emig families were shipbuilders and ship captains on the high seas. Harold is survived by his sister, Vern LaVigne; nieces, Kris (David) Wolf and Tracy (Dan) Golless and their three children, David, Jordan and Devin; nephew, Loren W. Sibilla, and his son, Jeffrey S. Sibilla; and niece, Marilyn (Pat) O'Brien, and her children, Craig and Curt.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a family committal service at a later date. Contributions can be made to the St. Clair Museum, which he was so fond of. Lila L.

Steece Lila L. Steece COLDWATER Lila L. Steece, 80, of Coldwater, died of automobile-related injuries that occured near her home Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001. She was born Jan.

19, 1921, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of John H. and Dessie L. Jessup Lee. She married Starling "Buss" Steece on March 19, 1941, in Sioux City. Mr.

Steece died Jan. 27.1996. Lila's life was her family and she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandma. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Cheryl of Yale and Curtis and Kristine of Capac; daughters and son-in-law, Constance Kurkowski of Macomb Township, Pamela and Lou Moser of Coldwater, Michaelene Steece of St. Clair and Marlene and Daniel Baird of Port Huron; 22 grandchildren; and 11 Her Robert, preceded her great in death in 1985.
