Clair, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997. He was born March 11, 1913 in Detroit, Michigan. Fred married Mary Kuzniak and she died in 1994. He is survived by his children Ronald Sobczak, Marilyn (William) Taylor, Martin Sobczak, Alfreda (Jack) Smith, Janet (Larry) Empey and Fred David (Sandy) Sobczak; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visitation will be from 12 noon till 9 p.m.

today in L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. A Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Association. Mr. Langolf was a member of St. Stephen's Church. He served in the United States Air Force from 1946 to 1947.

He was a former member of the Port Huron Motorcycle Club; and also a member of May O'Brien Post 8465 VFW. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He loved animals and his Family was very important to him. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn L. of Port Huron; son, Edward Joseph (Julie Langolf of Port Huron; three daughters, Ann M.

(Ron) Cornelius of Fort Gratiot, Sharon L. (Jim) Fayed of Port Huron, and Mary Louise Harris of Port Huron; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, William A. (Helen) Langolf and Charles R. (Aletha) Langolf of Port Huron; two sisters, Mary L. (Eugene) Loxton and Catherine E.

(Charles) Roelens of Port Huron; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, 'Wallace M. Langolf on May 1970; an infant son, Michael E. Langolf, Feb. 1957; and his parents, Andrew Langolf and Mary M.

Pockett. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen Church. The Rev.

David J. Le-sniak. Pastor will officiate. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
