The Wildcats blocked Oklahoma's first punt and returned it for a touchdown.

Miller broke Chad May's school record with his 19th scoring pass of the season, a 16-yarder to Brian Lojka. No. 10 COLORADO 45 OKLAHOMA STATE 32 John Hessler had touchdown passes of 52, 6, 5, 77 and 7 yards, tying the record he set earlier this season against Oklahoma. No. 18 ARKANSAS 26 MISSISSIPPI STATE 21 The Razorbacks earned a spot in the Southeastern Conference championship game by holding off Mississippi State. Powlus broke his left humerus, the bone between the shoulder and elbow. With Notre Dame trailing 17-14 with approximately 11 minutes left in the third quarter, Navy's Harris grabbed a scrambling Powlus around the collar fend tossed him to the ground. Powlus fell on his left shoulder and was on the ground for five minutes before being taken to the room.

Powlus was replaced by junior Tom Krug, who had hot completed a pass all season. Before he was injured, Powlus Was 4-of-8 for 64 yards and had rushed for one touchdown. He leaped high in the air to make the catch and was clearly in pain after hitting the ground.

The fourth-ranked Buckeyes Davis, the nation's leading rusher, gained 121 on 28 carries. The Spartans regained the lead 21-18 on Greene's 1-yard run with 6:20 left. The Spartans took a 7-3 lead on Mason's punt return in the second quarter. Greene's 7-yard run gave them a 14-3 lead with 30 seconds left in the half. Mason gathered the ball in at the Spartans' 30 and found a lane through the Michigan defense. Rob Swett had the last at Mason about 20 yards from the goal line, but Mason easily won that footrace up the sideline.

"I always have dreams about running a punt back for a touchdown," Mason said. "I knew if I could contribute to special teams, we would have a good chance to win." Greene's 13th touchdown of the season capped a 79-yard, 11 -play drive following a fake field goal by the Wolverines. Mason, who had five catches for 71 yards, kept that drive alive with a nice reaching sideline grab for an 18-yard gain. With 4:50 left in the second quarter, the Wolverines faked a 38-yard field goal.

But the holder, tight end Jay Riemersma, a former quarterback, overthrew placekicker Hamilton, who was alone on the left sideline around the 10. The Wolverines finally went 57 yards in 11 plays. Watson had Purdue's longest TD run since 1984 when he went 63 yards in the first quarter. He finished with 194 yards. TOLEDO ROLLS ON: Wasean Tait scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and Mark Spring kicked a pair of field goals as Toledo all but assured itself of a league title with a 19-7 victory against Central Michigan on Saturday.
