Gentlemen: There is a catch basin on the northwest corner of block 24, F. G. M. R. plat, which is at the corner of Erie and Kearney streets.

Every time it rains the water stands on the pavement along in front of my house for hours before it soaks away, and at times it is so deep that people can't cross on the crosswalk. This is very annoying to me as I try to keep my property neat and tidy at all times and to have this muddy stench in front of your home is not at all pleasant. If the catch basin is no good let us have a new one on this corner as it has to take off all the water in the block from Lincoln avenue to Kearney street. Please take prompt action on this and oblige, Your obedient servant, E. J.

We ask that the assessment roll be divided into eight parts and that any and all property owners be given the privilege of paying any of the unpaid parts of such assessment at any special assessment paying period, with interest at the rate of five per cent, payable annually. We further aeree to tav all of such come to the Maxine tonight in aiorai Courage." The climax is one of the most surprising and Btartling things ever filmed. It is so wholly unexpected and yet so undeniably consistent and logical that it quite takes spectators off their, feet. In addition there will be a Mutual Weekly showing current happenings on the screen.
