Jurmu, 89, of 1020 Miller died Saturday in St. Clair County Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born April 10, 1889, Oneco, and had lived here 15 years. She married Charles Jokie. He died in 1955.

She married Emil Jurmu. She is survived by her husband; a son, Raynard Jokie, Marysville; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie and Mrs. Rosie McDonald, both of Port Huron; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 1 p.m.

Tuesday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home, North Chapel. Rev. Joseph H. Ablett, pastor of Marysville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riv-erlawn Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m today. He was a member of Chas. Hammond Post 8 American Legion; B.P.O.E MS; L.O.O.M. 158; Fort Gratiot Lodge 374 and Operating Engineers Loal 324. He was employed at Greenwood Energy Center by Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation. lie formerly operated Guys Grocery on Griswold Street.

He is survived bv his wife; three daughters. Mrs. Charles (Marsha) McNeil Boise. Idaho; Mrs. Thomas (Claudia) Donnellon, Troy and Christine K.

Smith, Port Huron; two grandchildren; a sister. Mrs. Adrian D. (Lucille) McAuley. Port Huron; and three brothers.

Lyle Smith. Fullerton, Gordon C. Smith. Marysville and George Smith. Port Huron.

A sister, Mrs. Hoy (Gladys) Melms, perceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Congregational Church. Rev.

1958, in Indiana. Mr. Banks was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dennis, Willard, Ohio and Robert, De-ford; two daughters, Alice Kennedy, Brown City and Mrs.

Roger (Ina Mae) Lee. Grand Ledge; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchildren; four brothers. Gilbert and Stanley, both of Brown City; Charles, Drayton Plains and Russell, Detroit; and three sisters, Edna Armstrong and Irene Shepherd, both of Brown City and Lulu Spaulding. Kansas. Two sisters, Olive and Lucille, preceded him in death.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hacker Funeral Parlor, Sandusky. Rev. Thomas Barbret, pastor of Hope Lutheran Church, Marlette, will officiate. Burial will be in Elk Township Cemetery, Peck.

She was born Dec. 29, 1908, in Casso-polis. She married Clare Berden. She is survived by her husband; a daughter. Mrs.

James (Lorraine) Kin-nee. Tuscon; a son, Robert Reddington, Carsonville; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Arlene Gordon. Tuscon; and a brother, William Brooks Flint. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Hacker Funeral Parlor, Sandusky.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Gustav E. Jahn F1L10N Gustav Edward Jahn. 81. Filion, died Friday in Sunny Acres Nursing Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born Jan. 8, i897, near Port Hope. He married Minnie Hildebrandt Nov. 14, 1923. in Harbor Beach.

Mr Jahn was a farmer, mason and carpenter. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Kinde. and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Huron Township. He is survived by his wife; two daughters. Mrs. Francis (Alfrieda) Bayer. Bad Axe.

and Mrs. Carl (Jean) Blacker. Kinde; a son, Gerald, Fort Wayne. a sister. Mrs.

Clara Hass. Kinde; two brothers, Fred, Port Hope, and Frank, Port Huron; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Four brothers and three sisters died earlier. Services were to be at 1 p.m. today in St.

1894, in Dwight Township. Mr. Dempsey attended the former Grindstone City School. He was a clerk for the former Rouse Grocery Store and Grindstone Quarry. He farmed for several years and was employed bv Huron Medical Care Facility.

Herman Learman HARBOR BEACH Mary Learman, 94, Harbor Beach, died Saturday in Harbor Beach Community Hospital" She was born April 9, 1884, in Sand Beach Township. She married Herman Learman April 25, 1910. He died Feb. 18, 1949. She is survived by two sons, Earl and Arthur, both of Harbor Beach; 15 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

A son, Stanley, died in 1971. Services will be at 11 a m. Tuesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Helena. Rev.

She was born Feb. 4, 1890, in Kansas City. and had lived here 3 years. She married John H. Johns.

He died in 1939. Mrs. Johns was a former resident of Kansas City and Long Beach. Calif. She is survived by a son, Howard St.
