After the business meeting- Mrs. Cuttie, president called upon Miss Mac-Eachern to give "The Scotch in Am-t-riea" whih she did in a capable and pleasing manner. Mac-Eachern opened hr paper by giving the cause of the emigration to this r.iur.tr,-, trlvina- historical facts, and then t-i'iina- why they remained here thlr arrival because they freedom, independence in ail which conformed with their principles.
