Dredge And Jacks Used In Attempt To Re-float Ship Mackinac Island. June 28 AP A -lamchn dredge was used today to remove some of the ciay and boulders which have held the excursion steamer South American on Tin shoal, off Round island, since Saturday. Submarine jacks were brought from Sault Ste. Marie for use in the event the dredging operation fails to re-float the vessel. The South American lie 60 feet along the shoaL Although its stern it in 19 feet of water, its rudder is raised about feet and its propeller is partially out of water.

BOUGHAX Chicago, June 28 AP Despite North Dakota reports of black rust at various spots in the rted River valley, Chicago wheat prices tended almost uniformly downward today. Heavy rains relieving drought in northern districts of Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada, were an outstanding factor. Maximum declines of 2 cents at Winnipeg and 1 1-2 cents here were a consequence.

At the close, Chicago wheat futures were 1 1-8-1 1-2 cents lower compared with Monday's finiah. July 75 Sept. 7S 5-8-3-4. corn 3-8-7-8 down, July 57-57 1-8, Sept 58 3-8-1-2. and oats unchanged to 3-8 off.

Anchorville Girl Wed In St. Mary's Anohorvill, June 27 St Mary's Roman Catholic church was the scene of a pretty June wedding Saturday morning, when Miss Mary Leusch, daughter of the late Mr. and Mr. Michael Leusch, became the bride of Harold Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs.

William Wagner, China township. The bride, who was given in marriage by her foster father, Walter Westinburg. wore a white lace gown over white satin. Her long veil was attached to a bandeau of orange blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of white rose and baby breath.

Miss Norma GronzaL Detroit, maid of honor, wore a gown of sal-moo satin, with matching accessories. Miss Phyllis Basney and Mis Ethelene Swindell, Detroit, were bridesmaids. Miss Basney wore aquamarine net over a aquamarine satin. Miss Swindell's gown was of old rose silk georgette. Both bridesmaids wore matching accessories and carried snapdragons and baby's breath.

The groom was attended by his brother, Fred Wagner, and the bride's brother, Frank Leusch. After the wedding ceremony, a breakfast was served in the home of the groom's parents. Three hundred relatives and friends attended a reception during the evening Marine City auditorium. Martha Graff, also of Yuba City He was born in Huron county and had lived here all except two years which he spent in Oklahoma. Mr. Nieschulz was fatally wounded Sunday when a .22 rifle discharged while his friend Clayton Christner, 24. was loading it. The bullet struck Nieschulz in the right side and caused a fatal infernal hemorrhage.

Mrs. Sarah F. Soul Yale. June 28 Mrs. Sarah Fos-tick Soule died today in the home of her daughter, Mrs.

Nellie Kelley. Yale, at the age of 83 Surviving are Mrs. Kelley and a grand daughter. Loi3 Kelley. Yale.

Mrs. Soule was born Aug. 8. 1854. in Woodstock.

The long sleeves ended in points over the hands and a three-yard veil hung from a lace cap. The bride flowers were white roses and baby's breath.
