Connie was born Sept. 24,1939, in Croswell, MI to the late Overal and Dorthory Mc Names. She married the love of her life, Bruce Schenck, on May Connie was an actively involved member with Forester United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Wheel of Fortune, her beautiful flowers and watching the many birds that she fed. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. In golden years, her life was spent with as she always said, better half, There was no Connie without Bruce or no grandma without grandpa. She was a remarkable and devoted wife, mother, grandmother who delighted in being a companion and entertaining for her family on after church with a delightful dinner, board games, and close conversations. Her cheerful attitude and pure love touched all who knew her.

Family and Faith were everything. Connie is survived by her Dear Husband; Bruce Schenck, 3 children; Mickey (Bill) Baumstark, Denise Schenck, and Michael (Rhonda) Schenck, 4 grandchildren; Tina (Don) Leenknegt, Tanya (Robert) English, Dustin and Rachelle Schenck, 6 great-grandchildren; Randon Riley Seres, Chase Bryce Leenknegt, Bianca Elana English, several nieces nephews, church family and friends. Connie is preceded in death by her sisters; Betty Emerson, eanette Meneghin, brothers; Robert (Bob) McNames, and erry McNames. Cremation will take place. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Forester United Methodist Church on April 5th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Ellen Schippert will officiate. Anyone wishing to make a contribution in her memory is asked to consider Forester United Methodist Church. Patricia A. Mattox Kimball Patricia Ann Mattox, 84, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Port Huron Hospital. She was born November 26, 1929 in Sandusky, Michigan to the late Ronald and Nora Fuller.

She married John K. Mattox on July 10, 1954 in Croswell. Patricia graduated from Croswell High School in 1947. She attended Port Huron Business College for one year. She worked as a noon hour supervisor for the Port Huron Area School District for 25 years retiring in 1990.

She was a member of St. Episcopal Church and the Altar Guild. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, puzzles, traveling and spending winters in Davenport, Florida. She is survived by her husband John; three children, JoAnn (William) Parkus of Ypsilanti, Michael (Terry) Mattox Croswell and Allen Mattox of Kimball; six grandchildren, Aaron and Kayla Parkus, Tanya, Todd and Tyne Mathis and Tristin (Timothy) Kelch; seven great grandchildren, Teal, Taryn, Breeya, Tyra, Juliana, Kaleigh and Zander; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Fuller; and a sister, Dona Greening.

Visiting hours will be 2-4 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 in St. Episcopal Church, 3201 Gratiot Avenue, Port Huron with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.

Rinn St. Clair Louise M. Rinn age 98 of St. Clair died Monday, March 31, 2014. Louise was born January 3,1916 in St.

Clair to the late John and Emma Brenner. She worked at Michigan Bell and Diamond Crystal where she met her future husband John and they were married on October 30, 1943. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1993. Louise was the oldest member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair, where she served on the Altar Guild and the Ladies Aide.

She volunteered with the March of Dimes and the Red Cross and was a former Lioness. She is survived by her sons, John (Kim) Rinn and Richard (Melody) Rinn; grandchildren Joel (Jessica) Rinn, Lenae (Paul) van der Bijl, Aaron Rinn, Rachelle (William) Shurtliff, Amy (Richard) Tinsley, Scott (Christy) Rinn, Laura (Myron) Lee; 16 great grand children; and brother Dr. Frederick Brenner. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her brothers Richard and John Herbert Brenner. The family would like to thank the staffs of Landing and The Manor for their care for Louise over the last 11 years Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St.
