Fred Goodrow - New command

Capt. Good row Resigns. Announcement was made today by Brown & Co., Buffalo vessel agents that Captain F. B. Goodrow has resigned as master of the steamer W. H. Truesdala to take command of tha new steel freighter freighter Porter, which the American Shipbuilding company recently built on its own account. Captain Goodrow has been in the employ of Brown & Co. 10 years. He will be succeeded on the Truesdale by Captain J. A. Mcdonald, Mcdonald, who has been mate on the steamer Col. J. M. Schoonmaker of the Shenango line for the last four years.
